Overview
We are looking for an experienced marketing manager to join our team on a short-term basis, supporting all marketing functions, leading the team, and taking on individual projects during your contract with us.
This position is suitable for anyone with experience in interim roles, ready to hit the ground running within a B2C environment.
* The role will start on Monday, 6th January 2025, and end on 7th March 2025, with a day rate structure.
* The proposed working days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, office-based with reasonable flexibility if needed.
* A period of getting to know the team is proposed for December 2024 if possible.
Key Objectives
* Lead and manage a team of four within the marketing department across all communication channels.
* Facilitate all marketing meetings, including general catch-ups and multi-channel campaign planning.
* Attend a weekly leadership meeting to provide a 2-week summary of activities and deliver on campaigns based on overall trading.
* Take a hands-on approach with the team, fully involved in campaign execution from ideas and concepts to copywriting and sign-off.
* Sign off and drive all BAU campaigns scheduled for January-March while leading new incentives in collaboration with the General Manager and CEO.
* Develop a guest acquisition and retention campaign in partnership with the digital team and retail development manager.
* Oversee all design work, prioritizing workloads with the design team.
* Manage the budget and ensure all documentation is recorded.
* Evaluate marketing performance throughout the month, including reporting on the biggest rebook campaign activated in January-February.
* Provide general management support.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within a B2B environment.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
* Excellent organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
* Proficiency in social media management platforms and tools.
* Experience with Google Ads and other digital advertising channels.
* Familiarity with email marketing best practices and tools.
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
