We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker in Safeguarding, within the Social Care industry in Achieving for Children. The vacancy will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstances and your performance.
Responsibilities include:
1. Investigation and assessment, following referrals to the service.
2. Report Writing
3. Working with PLO (Public Law Outline)
4. Attending Child Protection meetings, Case Conferences and LAC reviews.
5. Utilise Children In Need plans to work directly with Children
6. Court Reports
7. Section 47's
8. Core Assessments
9. Manage a caseload
Experience preferred:
Post qualifying experience of working as a Qualified Social Worker - Children In Need Team within the UK Social Care industry.
Minimum Requirements:
1. SWE Registration
2. 1-2 years post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
3. Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
4. Eligibility to work in the UK
