About the Role: SEN TA: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 who have Autism Spectrum Disorder. You will provide one-on-one and small group support, adapting learning materials to meet individual needs. This role requires patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN. Key Responsibilities: SEN TA: • Deliver tailored support for children with ASD, ensuring they feel engaged and confident in their learning .• Implement strategies to support communication, emotional regulation, and sensory needs. • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop individual learning plans. • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.• Monitor progress and adapt support strategies as needed. Application Requirements: SEN TA: • Previous experience working with children with ASD or similar SEN needs .• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting young learners .• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
