Complex Needs Assistant - Bridgend
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Partnership school to help them facilitate their permanent recruitment. This agreement begins temporary, then after 20 weeks can have a permanent offer of employment (performance dependent). They are currently looking for an individual to work with young learners with a range of additional learning needs, predominantly PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties).
This school educates young people from the age of 3 to 19, with the aim of promoting independence for them to take with them in the future. The school advocates for implementing music and sensory play in their day to day to stimulate the young people and engage them in hands-on learning. The school thrives on delivering a bespoke and individualised curriculum that meets the needs of all learners through exciting activities and opportunities. They pride themselves on the progress that their learners make during their educational career.
Start Date – 3rd March 2025
Hours – 8:30 – 3:30
Pay rate – Minimum of £400 per week (before tax)
Location – Bridgend, Central (close to public transport links)
Qualifications required – We will provide you with the training required, as well as learning your day-to-day requirements as you perform the role. For example, you will learn specific methods to assist each learner to better their education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
