This is an in office-based role, based in our Welwyn Garden City office.
The role
We're looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized Office Manager to become an integral part of our team. In this diverse and exciting role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our business. You will be responsible for providing essential support across a variety of tasks, enabling our managers and Consultants to focus on their core objectives.
* Partner with 3rd party office providers and suppliers to ensure the office is clean, functional, and conducive to productivity
* Plan and coordinate inclusive internal social events and cultural initiatives that resonate across all teams
* Assist with the planning and preparation of external events across our client base and community groups
* Ensuring the office meets health and safety regulations, conducting regular checks, and maintaining appropriate records (e.g., fire safety, first aid, emergency procedures)
* Supporting the onboarding process for new hires by ensuring their workspace is ready, including desk setup, office orientation, and access to resources
* Support with other HR administrative tasks
* Assist the Recruitment Consultants with administrative tasks across the recruitment life cycle – including database admin tasks, support with writing and posting adverts and external marketing materials
* Provide PA support to Directors and Senior Managers as required
We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in office or facilities management, with strong planning skills
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal able to work well with colleagues, leadership, vendors and clients
* Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail and the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Desire to continue personal development and learning constantly
