What You'll Do
Principal Asset Management is seeking a Legal Operations & Company Secretarial Assistant to join their London office on a permanent basis. This role offers an opportunity to join a global asset manager with the successful candidate being responsible for supporting the Legal and Company Secretarial department within the London office.
Here are a few examples of the kinds of things you’ll do:
* Meeting Scheduling, drafting agendas, taking minutes and tracking actions.
* Monitor filing deadlines and submit statutory filings.
* Collate board papers.
* Partner with the law department to enhance various operational matters
* Assist with projects to optimise deployment of internal legal resources
* Compose correctly formatted, accurate correspondence for all communications including letters, emails or other documents.
* Screen incoming phone calls and transfer or take messages as necessary.
* Distribute mail, arrange couriers, scan files and print and bind presentations.
Who You Are
* Preferably 5 years’ experience in a similar role or equivalent.
* A minimum typing speed of 45-55 wpm is required.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook, including OneNote.
* Ability to prioritise work and proactively communicate estimated completion timescales

Location
Based in our London office. This role offers hybrid working, with three days a week in the office.
