Please see attached benefits guide for everything we have to offer. ___________________________________________ Your Role as an FM Project Manager As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering Facilities Management projects within HM Prisons, ensuring that all works are completed to the highest standard. You will manage lifecycle, investment, and sustainability projects, ensuring effective planning, execution, and compliance with regulations. Your role will require you to review project requests, assess feasibility, and manage expectations while coordinating with internal teams, external clients, and senior management. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with health and safety regulations. Managing risks, ensuring compliance, and maintaining strong client relations will be key aspects of your role. This role requires a strong presence on-site, with weekly visits to HMP Addiewell and HMP Northumberland. Additionally, occasional travel to four other prison sites across the UK will be required to ensure effective project oversight and collaboration. Experience in a construction or maintenance environment. Project management qualification (PRINCE2 or equivalent). Strong financial planning and budget management skills. Experience in managing in-house labour and subcontractors. Ability to produce detailed reports with strong attention to detail. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Willingness to travel weekly to HMP Addiewell and HMP Northumberland, with occasional travel to other sites. Desirable: Experience working in prisons or similar high-security environments.
