I2 Group, a Harris Computer company, is currently recruiting for a Marketing Communications Manager on a permanent basis. This position will be undertaken on a hybrid basis, with one or two days per week working from our Manchester City Centre office and remotely. You will be joining a small team that supports our business worldwide in which your role will be key to helping us deliver against our overall marketing and events plan, plus wider marketing initiatives. You will ensure the planning and delivery of the 2025 marcomms plan with a focus on PR & content, campaigns, Partner marketing & events. The content plan is central to this success which you will own, working in conjunction with the team. Responsibilities Your primary responsibility will be to lead the delivery of the marketing communications plan to help us establish the i2 brand globally. In addition, you will support the wider marketing team in their efforts to deliver against the digital marketing objectives. Develop and implement marketing campaigns, in conjunction with the Digital Marketing Manager. To plan and manage the delivery of all thought leadership content which is disseminated across campaigns and our digital platforms. This is supported by internal specialists, wider expert network and our external PR expert. Management of the global event program and hands-on delivery of several events (Responsibility for this is shared with our Marketing Operations Manager). Lead the planning and implementation of PR and campaign initiatives. Manage the delivery of all sales enablement tools for the channel and our internal sales team. Support our reseller network in delivery of all channel marketing tools. Plan and manage all joint marketing initiatives with the wider ecosystem of partners (PR, collateral, campaigns, content for our website and outbound marketing). Contribute to the delivery of wider marketing objectives and support strategic projects. Manage external suppliers, ensuring standards and deadlines are met and are within budget. Provide accurate and timely reporting as requested. Support for the wider team as needed. Qualifications and skills Proven success in a role as a generalist Marketing Manager. Experienced in event planning and management both locally and on an international scale. Content & Use-Case Marketing: Ability to create engaging content and use-case scenarios to highlight real-world applications. Ability to develop and execute a results-driven, multi-platform communications strategy and plan in line with corporate and brand direction while reflecting local priorities. Creating and managing all marketing materials and collateral in line with brand direction. Skilled in the use of HubSpot for marketing automation. Excellent written/verbal communication with good people skills; comfortable with engaging with people at all levels from across the company and our partners worldwide. Ability to work effectively to deadlines in a demanding environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) with an excellent command of English. Resourceful, self-motivated, and pro-active. Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload accordingly. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all communications internally and externally. Desirable: Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced B2B environment. Ability to manage and successfully deliver complex projects within specified deadlines. Strong commercial and financial decision-making skills. Terms Hours –This is a full-time position however consideration will be given to experienced candidates looking for slightly reduced hours (for example to accommodate school hours). Remote – This role is remote, and we will consider anyone from across the UK. However, proximity to either Manchester or Cambridgeshire would be advantageous.
