GAP Hire Solution's nationwide Plant and Tool division hires a range of equipment including diggers, dumpers and small power tools to companies within the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors.
As a Small Tools / Test & Run Fitter you will play a pivotal role in the success of our busy depot with responsibility for ensuring all Electrical and small tools are safe and serviceable before going out on hire and carry out PAT Testing on all electrical tools as well as servicing and maintaining a variety of small tools including 2/4 stroke petrol tools and a range of electrical tools including saws, grinders and drills to ensure that our customers can hire what they want, when they need it.
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:
* A relevant mechanical/electrical qualification (or time served)
* Significant experience in petrol and diesel contractor tools servicing and maintenance
* Experience carrying out PAT Testing on all electrical tools
* Up to date knowledge of products and full range of accessories
* Experience in completion of all test certificates and associated paperwork
* A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential
