This position will be based in our EnerSys Advanced Systems (EAS) Space line of business, which delivers international space missions for satellites, launchers, and interplanetary vehicles. We work with national and international space agencies like NASA and European Space Agency as well as commercial clients supporting Earth observation, IoT satellite constellations, and global positioning and navigation systems.

Job Purpose
* The Product Assurance Manager evaluates, tracks, and satisfies all Product Assurance requirements on assigned space power projects. This role works with a dedicated team from other disciplines to produce documentation and hardware for delivery to the customer.
* The Product Assurance Manager is the primary representative to the customer for the assigned project(s).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Responsible for on-time and on-quality Product Assurance activities.
* Prevention, investigation, and resolution of non-conformances on assigned projects.
* Delivery of documentation to meet customer PA requirements (e.g., NCRs, EIDPs, Inspection Reports).
* Specialist Product Assurance analysis and documentation (PM&P, EEE, RAMS, Safety).
* Chairing internal readiness review meetings (MRR, TRR, and DRB).
* Key inspection points and reports generation during assembly and test phase.
* Compliance statements for the product via VCD completion.
* Classification, tracking, and logging of changes to the product baseline (via CCBs).
* Notification of baseline changes to the customer.
Qualifications
* A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent qualification.
Knowledge/Experience
* Experience delivering PA engineering or manager duties on spacecraft projects.
* Inspecting and accepting spacecraft hardware.
* Producing technical Product Assurance documentation.
* A strong knowledge of European Space Industry standards (ECSS).
* Interpreting European Space Industry standards (ECSS) and developing compliant solutions.

1. Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
