Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant – Bramhall, Stockport – September Start Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a well-regarded, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Bramhall, Stockport, to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant for a September start. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Psychology graduate interested in education, child development, SEN, or a future in educational or clinical psychology. Location: Bramhall, Stockport Start Date: September Contract Type: Full-time, term-time Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (depending on experience) About the Role: Providing classroom support across a range of subjects, with a focus on emotional and behavioural needs. Working with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis to support their learning, development, and engagement. Supporting pupils with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), including autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs. Helping to implement behaviour strategies and personalised learning plans under the guidance of the SENCO and teaching staff. Assisting in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Ideal Candidate: A recent Psychology graduate with a strong interest in education, child psychology, or mental health. Empathetic, patient, and confident in building relationships with young people. Interested in pursuing a career in teaching, educational psychology, youth work or SEN support. Previous experience with children or young people (voluntary or paid) is highly desirable.
