Referrals and Allocations Officer To aid Supported Housing Offices in delivering high quality housing and support services to our clients. This role will particularly focus on referral and allocation responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Be the primary contact for all incoming referrals and related enquiries. Input the referral information onto the Omni ledger System within 3 days of receiving the same. Collate accommodation referrals. Issue an initial interview assessment interview appointment as soon as possible. (The target is to send an appointment letter within 5 days of receipt of referral.) Liaise with the referring agencies regarding client's needs and risk. Keep a detailed written record on the company database of all contacts made with the client and agencies involved. Where necessary gather more detailed information on the individual, i.e. history, offending details, current mental health, or substance misuse etc. Be aware of risk assessment and be able to discuss this with providers. Liaise with the local prisons and book interview appointment within the Prison. Attend prisons to conduct initial interview assessments and provide information on accommodation and support services available to other potential applicants. Keep a continuous check on property vacancies in liaison with Supported Housing Officers Manage and plan allocations to keep void levels to a minimum. "Match" clients needs with accommodation available Maintain good contact with the referring officer to keep up to date with the clients status and any changes in circumstances. Be based at probation offices on a weekly basis to conduct initial interview assessments. Manage the waiting list ensuring Fair Access and Inclusion Policy is adhered to. Ensure initial assessment paperwork has been fully completed and signed before committing to allocating a property. Meet regularly with the Accommodation Officer assigned by the probation service. Liaise regularly with the service manager.
