As a Domestic Assistant, you will need to be adaptable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with the team are essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
The Role...
Responsible for cleaning all areas of the care home in accordance with our cleaning schedules.
Vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and cleaning communal areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and specialist rooms.
Sust, polish furniture, clean windows, sanitize surfaces, and refresh rooms before new residents arrive.
Emptying bins, cleaning vases, moving furniture for thorough cleaning, managing cleaning supplies, and reporting faulty equipment.
Adherence to Health and Safety and Infection Control policies is essential, along with completing records and attending mandatory training and staff meetings.
This is a permanent role, working part-time (26-hours per week), on a rotational basis that includes weekends.
Be part of our dedicated support services team in our Wakefield House Care Home located in Cullen, a picturesque village offering commanding views over Cullen Bay and the Moray Firth.
