Our client is looking for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join them, to cover two sites close to each other near Warrington.
Following a full refurbishment and opening of their new practice in December 2022, the clinic's impressive facilities include a clean corridor with 3 operating theatres (with DR X-ray in orthopaedic theatre), ultrasound suite, X-ray, and dental room. The practice and cattery are working to gold ISFM standard, and they are hoping to gain Hospital status in the future. They also have a newly created OOH function that looks after 7 of their branch practices.
The role will be a direct support for the CD at the clinic. You will be involved in the line management of vets across both practices (primarily based in one site), deliver clinical governance, contribute to the progression of the branch nearby (1 day per week), and take on various managerial tasks that will support the growth and development of both the practices and teams under the guidance of the CD.
Working full-time over 4 days per week, your rota would also include working a 1:4 Saturday (hours are annually accrued within your contracted hours of 37.5/week), 1:12 Sunday rota, and 1 or 2 bank holidays per year. Holiday hours or TOIL are given for any Sunday and bank holidays worked throughout the year.
There is an experienced team who are hardworking, respectful, friendly, and overall work together to provide the best service for clients. They look after their teams through offering an excellent package, salary, and holiday scheme which includes company sick pay, life insurance, wellbeing programmes, relocation packages, enhanced maternity/paternity rights, and much more. They are keen to support development and offer an excellent CPD allowance.
