Lerners is seeking an Administrative Services Coordinator to support the Administrative Services team in the London, Ontario office. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience working in a similar position. We welcome applications without prior experience, provided the candidate demonstrates the willingness to learn and contribute. The primary duties include print and distribution, front desk coordination, facilities support, and assisting in the life cycle of a file from retention to destruction as well as various other administrative tasks.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Processing mail and couriers
* Processing reproduction requests
* Providing backup to the Facilities Boardroom Coordinator
* Performing quality control inspections
* Liaising with litigation support and legal teams
* Managing digital and physical files
* Responsible for file creation, retention, and destruction in line with firm policies
* Managing off-site store services
* Providing paper-lite support
* Controlling access to corporate documents and evidence
* Performing other duties and tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a file clerk, receptionist, or in a copy center is an asset
* College diploma or university degree in a related field is an asset
* Basic knowledge of records management and associated principles (i.e., knowledge of classification systems) is an asset
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite
* The ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team
* Time management, organization skills, and attention to detail
Working Conditions:
* The functions of this role require an assigned backup. Vacation time will need to be set in accordance with your backup.
* Sitting for extended periods of time
* Flexibility to work overtime if requested
* Working within a professional office setting
