Job Title: Junior Small Works ManagerLocation: PeterboroughSalary: £30,000 - £37,500 per annum plus bonusJob type: Full Time, PermanentAbout us:Westone Housing Ltd are a building and property conversion and repair company based in Peterborough. Using our own employed trades and approved contractors Westone carries out property reinstatement and rebuild services in the insurance industry plus conversions and improvements in both residential and commercial property markets.About the Role:We have an opportunity for an experienced and capable Project Manager to join our growing business. Your place of work will be the Westone Housing Headquarters but you will be required to attend sites within its operating territory.The primary role of the Project Manager is to ensure the ongoing projects are run efficiently and profitably.
Working within our Insurance Projects Department the Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing varying sized Commercial, Residential and Industrial projects of a construction or refurbishment nature on a daily basis.You will need to ensure contractual conditions are being followed, the most critical, being that all work is completed to a high standard in a safe working environment within the programme and to the total satisfaction of the client. Customer and Client focus being key to success.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Project management of a project from inception to completionRecruiting new tradesmen to help facilitate your pipeline of projectHelp define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholdersSupport the development of full-scale project plans and associated communications documentsEnsuring project compliance to CDM RegsMonitoring performance to meet KPI'sLiaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basisComplete site surveys & designing plans to meet recommendationsEstimatingDraft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessaryRaise & submit change orders for projects to clientsComplete client facing meetings, presenting performance dataAbout you:Qualifications and Skills:Experience of contract/project management and building/quantity surveyingPossess good leadership ability and work well as part of a teamSelf-motivated, proactive with positive can-do attitude. Highly organised and excellent communicator.
