About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of engineers responsible for designing and developing a platform manoeuvring solution that spans the entire product lifecycle. As a senior engineer, you will be accountable for realising and delivering the engineering design for a vehicle control system using agile toolsets. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining the competency and skills of the team, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and engaging with suppliers to manage engineering requirements and deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Electrical, Electronic, Control or Instrumentation Engineering, and significant experience in architecting electronic systems such as vehicle control systems. You will also need a proven track record of leading and inspiring engineering teams across the product lifecycle, knowledge of applying safety and security standards to engineering products, and in-depth knowledge of one of the following: design and deployment of complex control solutions, manoeuvring architectures, or vehicle design.
