Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an enthusiastic Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) to work within the multi-disciplinary Community Havant and Petersfield CAMHS team. Much of the work will be supporting our busy ADHD clinic supporting our Clinicians with medication initiation and review appointments. They will work within a multi-professional team to provide individualised patient care. We are looking for a motivated individuals, who are dynamic and keen to work as part of a team. The successful candidates will need to have some relevant experience, good communication skills and the ability to work well as a team member. Main duties of the job This role will assist and support the multi-disciplinary mental health clinicians working with the Community CAMHS Team. The role with include some patient facing work (including both children and families), liaison with wider networks supporting the families, such as school or children's social care and supporting the Team Duty Clinician. This role will demonstrate excellent communication skills; using these skills to engage with patients with complex and at times challenging needs, as well as communicating in a succinct and clear fashion to the wider team in meetings and through reports.
