Job Summary

NUGENT carry out large, complex MEP engineering project works in GB, NI & ROI with a workforce of 130 direct employees and 300 sub-contractors.

The Role:
The ideal candidate is someone with experience as a Mechanical Site Supervisor / Project Manager or similar. You will be a motivated and reliable worker who brings enthusiasm and positivity to a team and you should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the successful candidate will be a key member within our team.
This role can be based within our Pomeroy or Belfast offices.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Objectives of this Role
1. Establish performance and delivery criteria, ensuring that the client requirements are met on time and within budget to high standards.
2. Liaise with the Contracts Manager and client on KPI development and implementation.
3. Track and report works against project programme at Client / Main Contractor update meetings.
4. Planning and management of all resources including labour, materials and sub-contractors.
5. Work safely, ensuring the safety and well-being of yourself, colleagues, customers and visitors.
6. Ability to work individually and as an integral member of a team carrying out planned & response maintenance, repairs, minor works, and installations.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Applicants must have a clean driving license.
2. Applicant must either have NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Installations or time served as a Plumber.
3. Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
4. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
5. Self-motivated, with a ‘can-do’ approach to work and willingness to learn and assist.
6. Attention to detail.
7. Work well and confidently as part of a team in a busy environment.
