Smart Environmental Support Solutions are excited to be recruiting for a Shift Manager/ Technical Account Manager (Recruiter) to work with our client, who is a Waste Management specialist, based in the Ipswich area.
Working within a manufacturing environment, the Technical Account Manager/ Recruiter will be responsible for Client and Candidate engagement, streamlining communication between the recruitment team and the production team, whilst also recruiting and managing the onsite flexible workforce.
The Role
To ensure the smooth running of this well-established recycling facility. Managing staff rotas, sickness and holiday. Recruiting new and managing a pool of candidates to ensure the plant is fully staffed at all times. To ensure internal and external customer satisfaction and to uphold the Company's reputation for excellent service and compliance.
The Technical Account Manager will become an expert in the sector, learning all aspects of the business enabling them to recruit, train and support the best workforce for the business.
Overview
1. Fully understand client needs and maintain compliance with KPIs and company policies.
2. Actively recruit candidates for specific sites.
3. Regularly review client satisfaction and internal reports.
4. Maintain records in line with legislative requirements and provide legislative updates.
5. Monitoring of employee performance, in particular pick rates, Health and Safety and general conduct.
6. Ensure that all staff are well trained and motivated to meet operational objectives.
7. Drive continuous improvement in pick rates, screen cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
8. Ensure that all employees are treated with dignity and respect, and they treat each other accordingly.
9. Able to identify changes in material quality and react accordingly to ensure that quality and production is not compromised.
10. Ensure staff availability to cover all positions, managing sickness and holiday coverage.
11. Able to manage and deal with non-compliance and breaches of Health and Safety on shift.
12. Ensure that site Health, Safety and Environmental standards (including housekeeping) are maintained to a high standard.
