Hours per week: 37.5 Main duties of the job The Senior Sister/Charge Nurse in Ward 2, specialising in Elderly Care, holds overall responsibility for managing care delivery in line with Trust policies and procedures. Senior Sister/Charge Nurse has overall management responsibility for ensuring high-quality care delivery within the ward, adhering to Trust policies and procedures. Their role involves providing senior leadership to the nursing team, facilitating regular supervision and appraisals and managing resources efficiently. They also play a key role in coordinating multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth communication and continuity of care across services. Additionally, the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse is expected to maintain clinical standards in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council's Code of Professional Conduct.
