About the Role: Deliver engaging and stimulating Music lessons across the curriculum, catering to a range of year groups (details to be confirmed). Contribute to the ongoing development of the Music curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the National Curriculum and the school's vision. Foster a love of music in students of all abilities, providing opportunities for them to develop their musical skills and knowledge. Prepare students for relevant assessments and examinations (if applicable). Support extracurricular music activities, such as choirs, ensembles, or school productions (as appropriate for the part-time role). Build positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment. The Ideal Candidate: A qualified Music teacher with demonstrable experience in engaging students in a classroom setting. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring a love of music in all its forms. Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to deliver innovative and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles. A commitment to high standards and the ability to create a positive and stimulating learning environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
