MainPurpose ofJob
BrentfordFC CST is looking for enthusiastic dedicated and ambitious coachesto join our team to lead or assist on our range of DisabilityProgrammes during termtime school holidays and at weekends. Thiswill include working with children & young people withlearning and physical disabilities particularly those with AutismADHD Learning Difficulties Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
Sessions will take place in the boroughs ofHounslow Ealing Richmond Hillingdon and occasionally other areas ofWestLondon.
Responsibilities
* Tocollaborate with other Trust coaches to ensure all sessions aredelivered to a high standard including planning and deliverysuitable for the needs of theparticipants.
* Build relationships with studentsteachers and parents.
* To improve childrensunderstanding of personal skills and values needed to achieve theirgoals and ambitions.
* Regular reviews withDisability Projects Managers to provide updates and feedback ondevelopment of sessions.
* To support andsignpost children and young people with learning and physicaldisabilities into further participation pathways in sport.
* Keep up to date with registers and participantdata collection in accordance with project funding requirements.
* Participate in Brentford FCCST staff trainingCPD workshops including safeguarding emergency response &child protection
* Ensuring all sessions aredelivered in compliance with BFCCST policies regarding SafeguardingRisk Assessments Health and Safety Incidents/Accidents First AidGDPR.
* Ensuring the safety and wellbeing offellow employees and participants at all times whilst sessions aretaking place.
* Using knowledge of specific needs/ disabilities of participants to recognise potential safeguardingconcerns that need to be reported following BFCCST safeguardingprocedures
* Report any safeguarding concernspromptly to the appropriate authorities or designatedpersonnel.

EssentialCriteria
MinimumLevel 1 Coaching Qualification in at least onesport
Experience of working with children and young peoplewith special educational needs disabilities and/or additional needsespecially some of those listed above.

Desirable:
* Experienceof working/coaching in schools with children and young people withdisabilities.
* Level 3 Certificate in Supportingthe Delivery of Physical Education and SchoolSport
* Level 2 Award in MultiSkills Developmentin Sport
* NGB Level 2 Qualification insport
* Clean Driving license & Car(candidate will need to bring equipment to and fromsessions).
