Maintenance Manager / Process Improvement Manager / Continuous Improvement Lead required for a manufacturer of steel components. The Maintenance Manager / Process Improvement Manager / Continuous Improvement Lead will be responsible for restructuring the maintenance department and driving continuous improvement throughout the sector. The Maintenance Manager / Process Improvement Manager / Continuous Improvement Lead will be located in the West Midlands and ideally have a background in Machining / Forging / Manufacturing and have a qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. This role will suit someone who has previously managed a team in a manufacturing environment and has prior experience as a Maintenance Manager / Maintenance Supervisor / Continuous Improvement Lead / Process Improvement Manager / Maintenance Lead or similar position. Package: Up to £70,000 base salary depending on experience 25 days holiday bank holidays Monday – Friday Pension Scheme On site role based in West Midlands Responsibilities: Restructure the maintenance department which includes recruitment, training and upskilling for a manufacturer of steel components Drive continuous improvement throughout the sector Improve uptime on all key pieces of equipment Ensure all equipment is compliant with legislation Provide support to the maintenance team to ensure there is improvement throughout the department Work with other departments to ensure all processes are being followed to reduce cost Manage large scale projects on time and within budget Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed to maintain a safe working environment On site role based in the West Midlands Requirements: Prior experience as a Maintenance Manager / Maintenance Supervisor / Continuous Improvement Lead / Process Improvement Manager / Maintenance Lead or similar position. A background in Machining / Forging / Manufacturing and have a qualification or experience in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Prior experience managing a team in a manufacturing environment Ideally you will be qualified in health and safety such as an IOSH / NEBOSH
