Junior Production Manager
Description
DSP are looking for a highly organised and confident junior production manager for a returning, large-scale BBC1 prime-time make-over series.
You must be available and happy to travel on location across the UK on alternating weeks from June until October.
When not on location, you will be based in our office in Brighton. Please note, this is not a hybrid role and you will be expected to work from the office 5-days a week.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 JPM credits and be confident managing large teams. Ideally, you will also be a confident driver and have PMI experience.
You will report to and be supported by a PM and a PE.
Dates: 12th May - 3rd October
Key Responsibilities:
1. managing weekly tasks for PC, PS and runners
2. reviewing weekly filming schedules with SP
3. booking any additional crew & kit
4. liaising with talent
5. updating staff rota, tracking holidays, training and contracts
6. liaising with 1st Option and insurers for any additional H&S considerations each week
7. tracking and prepping payroll
8. attending recces, and writing up post-recce notes for team
On location, you will be a central point of contact, responsible for overseeing all departments and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the production.
