A RIBA Chartered consultancy based in Nottingham, specialising in commercial, educational, and regeneration projects. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality architectural solutions, and we're now looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join our growing team. This role will play a key part in managing contracts across a wide range of high-profile projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Role Overview:
As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of contract administration and performance across a portfolio of projects. You will ensure that project contracts are executed efficiently, maintaining strong relationships with contractors and clients, while mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with legal and financial obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee contract execution, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Review and negotiate contract terms with clients, contractors, and consultants. Monitor project performance, identifying and resolving any contractual issues or disputes. Ensure compliance with legal standards, building regulations, and health & safety requirements. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery. Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings to track contract performance.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Contract Manager/Project Manager within the construction, architecture, or engineering industries. Strong knowledge of UK construction contracts, procurement processes, and legal requirements. Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Experience working on commercial, educational, or regeneration projects is an advantage.Benefits Package:
