We are recruiting a Technical Engineer to maintain and support technical systems and equipment to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You will provide process and product engineering skills to enable the delivery of the global commercial initiative master plan and new product development, and to support process optimisation at our contract manufacturers and pack sites, cost savings and second sourcing projects. This newly created role will support the Technical Specialist within the Product Support Group with the delivery of commercial initiatives through mechanical and process engineering support including technical support, validation and documentation for contract manufacturer changes, and overseeing validation and change control documentation within our QMS. You will conduct root cause analysis for product investigations and be responsible for maintaining component design documentation. The successful candidate… You will be degree (or equivalent) qualified in a relevant professional field ( i.e Mechanical or Industrial ), and have experience in developing medical consumer diagnostics within a regulated environment. You will be comfortable with and have experience of managing multiple complex projects involving technical functions. You will be proficient with computer-aided design software (eg. Solidworks) and ideally have a Project Management qualification. We are looking for someone who willingly takes the lead, drive and adapts to change, and is confident at prioritising and overcoming challenges. Knowledge of quality management systems and lean manufacturing is desirable.
