Varang Healthcare - Registered Manager (Community Care)
Varang Healthcare is seeking an experienced registered manager to oversee care services within the local community for elderly and vulnerable individuals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing an effective home care service within the region, leading a team of qualified staff to deliver high-quality care and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the CQC Registered Manager for the branch.
* Ensure the provision of high-quality care services to vulnerable individuals in their homes.
* Manage and deploy care teams providing support to adults.
* Implement and promote company policies, procedures, and standards.
* Contribute to the strategic management of the organization.
* Ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
* Achieve financial and growth targets.
Specific Responsibilities
* Implement supervision and appraisal policies for staff.
* Oversee efficient scheduling to maximize care time with service users.
* Ensure care staff follow care plans and meet CQC standards.
* Maintain accurate records within service users' homes.
* Manage staff recruitment, training, supervision, and record-keeping.
* Ensure health and safety policies are followed, maintaining a safe environment.
* Conduct assessments and reviews with service users and carers.
* Handle complaints, compliments, and feedback effectively.
* Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection laws.
* Manage payroll, invoicing, and financial recovery processes.
* Build relationships with Local Authority representatives and participate in meetings.
* Manage office budget and report on key performance indicators.
* Provide effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
* Ensure adherence to equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practices.
* Provide on-call and care services as needed.
* Perform additional duties as delegated by the Operations Director.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing care provider. The role offers a salary of GBP40,000 - GBP45,000, with excellent benefits, an achievable bonus, and share options, depending on experience. The salary range is flexible based on the candidate's qualifications.
