Reporting to Lisa Arthey, Corporate Director of Children’s Services, you’ll lead across a broad portfolio, including: SEND, Education Services 0-25 years, Alternative Provision, Education other than at school (EOTAS) Service, and the Virtual School for Children Looked After. You’ll be responsible for delivering our education and inclusion strategy, preparing for our upcoming SEND inspection, and continuing to strengthen our partnerships to ensure a whole system approach.
In Swindon, we’re moving into a fully integrated model of education, early intervention and social care, and we’re therefore looking for someone who has the technical knowledge around attainment and SEND, but who operates as a systems leader. You’ll have the ability to empower staff and will play a significant role in maintaining the momentum of positive change we’ve created.
