Skills & Requirements of a Site Services Engineer:
1. To have worked within a similar role, managing facilities or building regulations – to have managed and led facilities change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities.
2. Respond to major facilities issues and raised EHS / Facilities cases.
3. Work with local authorities and key stakeholders to ensure compliance with lease agreements.
4. Experience of leading and working on projects. This role will be a 90% office-based role, whereby you would be responsible for the success of driving the team forward, as well as setting up new projects and factories. However, there will be an expectation of being hands-on when needed.
5. Exposure to managing building regulations, compliance, and health and safety requirements.
6. Good communication skills – able to communicate and have experience of working and liaising with other departments.
7. To have managed department budgets and raised approvals/sign-offs for capital investments.
Responsibilities of a Site Services Engineer:
1. To lead projects, which may include many things such as new lines, new factory setups, and new electrical systems being put in place.
2. Exposure to managing building regulations, compliance, and health and safety requirements.
3. Good communication skills – able to communicate and have experience of working and liaising with other departments.
4. To have worked on department budgets and to have exposure to approving sign-offs would be beneficial to this role.
