Customer Service Account Manager – Scunthorpe (Hybrid) - £35,000 to £45,000 £400 a month car allowance OTE £80k Based out of our Scunthorpe office, we are now looking for an experienced account manager to play a pivotal role in supporting and driving sales through developing strong, sustainable customer relationships. Responsibilities Your responsibilities as an account manager with HBP is the focus is on cultivating strong relationships with clients to build trust, uncover new opportunities, and ensure continued satisfaction. The sales strategy involves applying the Challenger Sales approach to provide valuable insights and advice that distinguish our services from competitors. Alongside building and delivering the client’s IT strategy you will play a pivotal role as their primary contact, liaising with various service delivery teams across our business to ensure the client is represented and is receiving the level of service they’d expect. In addition to the ongoing relationship management, for key contract renewals you will lead the negotiation and positioning of the renewal, ultimately responsible for the retention of that client. Main Tasks Follow up on all sales opportunities generated from leads, referrals, and professional networking. Oversee the full sales cycle for each client, from initial outreach to closing and post sale engagement. Organise and participate in account management meetings to ensure seamless client support. Develop and update all necessary documentation for each sale, ensuring clarity and compliance for all proposed solutions. Lead client conversations with a Challenger mindset, pushing beyond initial requests to propose high impact solutions. Develop IT strategy documentation for clients to ensure they are maximising the value from their IT investments. Lead contract negotiations during the renewal process for key clients. Within this role it requires consistent adherence to processes, including updating CRM records, tracking sales activities, and promptly following up on leads. Additionally, delivering valuable insights that highlight the company's competitive advantage is key to reinforcing client evaluations. Knowledge & Experience (Required) To be our successful candidate, you will possess the following: Right to work in the UK. Full UK Driving License and insured personal vehicle (for business use) At least 5 years experience in sales or customer service roles A friendly, approachable, can-do attitude.
