Job Description: The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the procurement processes for MEP services and materials, ensuring that projects are adequately supplied and resourced. You will be mentored within this role and have the support of the senior staff within the department. Key Responsibilities: Assist in sourcing and procuring MEP materials and services, ensuring alignment with project specifications and budgets. Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to understand procurement needs and timelines. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate pricing structures, and assess product quality. Obtain and analyse quotations from suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to secure the best value for the company. Maintain and update supplier databases, ensuring accurate records of contracts, pricing, and performance. Support the development of procurement strategies that enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Monitor and track procurement activities, ensuring timely delivery of materials to support project schedules. Assist in managing supplier relationships, fostering collaboration and communication to resolve issues as they arise. Contribute to reporting and analysis of procurement performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Experience in procurement or supply chain management is advantageous but not essential. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
