JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: South East England, Surrey, Croydon
Job Type: Contract, Full-Time
Primary Industry: Education and Training
Salary: £90 - £100 Per day
Job Duties:
Provide support and assistance to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom
Work closely with teachers to implement individual education plans for SEN students
Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Help students with personal care needs, if required
Support students in their social and emotional development
Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
Required Qualifications:
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience working with children or young people with SEN
Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Relevant experience in a similar role within an educational setting
Knowledge of the UK education system and SEN policies
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools
First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Work primarily takes place in a classroom setting
May involve assisting with outdoor activities or school trips

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
