My client is looking for a hardware component engineer to work on aerospace date recorders and recognise fault finding. The role will be working onite in Bournemouth 3 days per week. The role will involve Electronics fault-finding and repair to component level Knowledge of Digital, Analogue and Microcontroller based circuitry An aptitude for mechanical engineering and problem solving (but primarily Electronics biased) A structured, methodical approach A flexible approach to working - Able to adapt to situations as part of a dynamic team Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Access, Outlook) A positive, can-do attitude Previous experience in Avionics, Aerospace or other highly regulated industry Good communication skills - Able to discuss technical matters with customers effectively Practical, hands-on engineering - Capable of repairing and maintaining electronic equipment An ability to work with minimum supervision Able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Access, Outlook) Previous experience in Avionics or Aerospace industry Previous experience with Technical Authoring / Aviation Publications ADZN1_UKTJ
