Senior Project Manager (Building Safety) A leading Construction Consultancy that specialises in Public Sector works are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join their team and play an active role in the delivery of projects and professional services on Cladding Remediation and Fire Improvement works. The successful candidate will be working directly on schemes ranging from £1 Million £10 Million, both Pre and Post Contract. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in crucial, high-impact projects that contribute directly to building safety and compliance under the Building Safety Act. Duties: Actively manage and deliver Cladding Remediation and Fire Improvement projects from inception to completion. Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring that all work complies with current regulations and safety standards. Work directly on schemes ranging from £1 Million £10 Million, both Pre and Post Contract. Provide project leadership and strategic guidance in managing employers agent and contract administration duties. Maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and efficient project delivery. Monitor and report on project performance, addressing any issues and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Oversee the delivery of high-risk building cladding replacement projects in accordance with the Building Safety Act. Assist in business development activities, including networking, client development, and preparation of submissions. Candidate Requirements: MRICS/FRICS/MAPM/CHPP/MCIOB qualification with experience in Project Management, Employers Agent, and Contract Administration post-Graduate Degree. Demonstrable experience in delivering High Risk Building cladding replacement projects under the Building Safety Act. Experience in client development, networking, business development, and assisting with submissions. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage a project team and effectively report on the teams performance to senior managers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and stakeholders. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
