IKEA London City is looking for a Business Navigation Manager, in IKEA we call this a Business Navigation and Operations Manager. Working for IKEA London City, you will work between IKEA Hammersmith and IKEA Oxford Street.

In this role, you'll be a proactive business partner, deeply involved in both strategic and operational development. WHAT WE OFFER
• Expected start date: 15th December 2024
• Starting salary of £60,000 based on experience and competency.
• 39 hours weekly, 5 days over 7 and alternative weekends.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred, along with over two years of leadership experience in a senior role.
• You are a strategic, tactical, and operational business partner with strong analytical skills, capable of translating business needs into financial solutions for various stakeholders.
• You are passionate about leading businesses through people, demonstrating high integrity and maturity to develop and lead teams.
• You possess broad commercial business knowledge, understand accounting principles, and can translate market trends into relevant business strategies for IKEA.
• You have the ability to steer budgets and make strategic business decisions, with a good overview of IKEA operations and are proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY-TO-DAY
• Secure that all business investments are done with a proper analysis of business ROI considering all aspects of the different projects.
• You will lead the store's business planning process in collaboration with the store manager and management team, using local market data to identify commercial opportunities, providing relevant insights and translating market trends into actionable business strategies.
• You will manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the store, steer business activities to maintain excellent condition of the store, reduce costs, create forecasts and scenario plans as needed.
• Lead and develop leaders and teams in the areas of responsibility of the BNO function. Identify and develop talents and secure succession planning.
• You will ensure a safe, secure, and compliant environment for customers, suppliers, and co-workers by implementing relevant rules and guidelines in the areas of Risk & Compliance, cash administration routines, accounting rules, etc.
