Job Description Health Care Assistant Woodland Hospital, Kettering 37.5 Hours We are looking for caring, dedicated and motivated Health Care Assistant to join the Ward team at Woodland Hospital, Kettering. You will be assisting in the delivery of care to a variety of specialities including orthopaedics, urology, general surgery, bariatrics and gynaecology to name a few. You will need to have a flexible approach to your working hours to enable us to deliver high quality round-the-clock patient care including some twilight/night shifts. You will be part of a team providing the very best in patient-focused healthcare services. You must have a caring approach, be a good communicator and be capable of delivering high standards of patient care. You will assist with essential hygiene and nutrition needs of patients and offer support and comfort. You will be trained to undertake additional clinical skills to support the nursing team such as performing clinical observations, catheter care and simple wound care. You will be responsible for assisting the Staff Nurse in the care of patients pre and post-operatively.
