Aramark UK is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Chef Manager to join the team at Thorpe Park. This is an exciting, permanent and full time opportunity reporting into our Assistant Head of F&B and you will assume all responsibility for our busy Canteen on site.

A day in the life of a Chef Manager:
• To provide a friendly catering service, performing a variety of manual tasks associated with food production and service. To manage staff rotas, ordering of stock and other responsibilities
• To assist in the preparation of food and snacks
• To keep the kitchen and canteen areas in a clean and tidy state at all times
• To lead the team to success and manage their day to day requirements- rotas, training, sickness, absence and performance
• To provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
• To ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service and expectations are consistently exceeded
• To be customer focused at all times, by being visible during service periods approachable and quick to exceed expectations in fulfilling customer needs
• To co-operate with all team members and undertake duties in the kitchen/service areas as requested to ensure an efficient and effective service is delivered at all times
• To attend food safety, health and safety and environmental training courses as required and to uphold standards
• To show commitment to company values in all aspects of your role
• Ordering of stock and meal planning
You'll be set up for success if you have:
• Previous restaurant or canteen experience is essential
• Ability to lead a team
• Flexible with shifts
• Able to communicate easily with other staff
• Able to work within a team and also independently
• Previous restaurant or canteen experience preferred
