Concept are currently recruiting for experienced IT/EPOS engineers to assist with an IT Upgrade project in the Chesterfield/Sheffield, York, Leeds, and Milton Keynes areas.
The successful Engineers will work on a 6-week contract starting with training on Friday 13th September, with potential for more project work.
Details of the role:
* IT Upgrades to pre-staged time clock in retail stores.
* Engineers will be required to remove the old clock and PSU, then fit the new GT4 clock which is POE and repatch.
* Resolve any issues if and when they occur.
* Complete sign off and sign out.
* Engineers to collect staged devices prior to project start and store clocks securely at home, returning all at the end of the project - workshop in Milton Keynes.
Hours of Work:
* Monday to Friday day work.
* 9 hours per day, door to door including travel.
* Contract is due to start with training on 13th September in Cambridge and run for 6 weeks (dependent on schedule).
* Expectation of 5 days' work per week per engineer.
* Travel will be a requirement of this role - engineer must have access to a large reliable vehicle with appropriate business insurance and valid MOT.
* 2 sites per day.
Required skillset:
* Experienced field engineers with experience in script-based ATM/Epos/IT project work; engineers must have basic fault finding skills.
* Must have a full UK Driving license and own reliable vehicle with business insurance.
* Must have standard engineering toolkit, PPE hard hat/boots, etc.
* Engineer must be able to pass BS7858 vetting check.
* Engineers will need to complete H&S accreditation in their own time (2 - 3 hours).
* Be comfortable in completing script-based activity.
Rate details:
* £145 per day shift based on a 9-hour day including travel.
* Overtime more than 9 hours is paid at £16.11 per hour.
* Mileage claimable after 100 miles per day, £0.25 per mile thereafter.
This role has been assessed and deemed an Outside IR35 role.
