An opportunity to join a company at an interesting time in their journey. For nearly 30 years this business has created a reputation in the fit-out sector. Over the past 8 years they have now created a major projects division that focuses on projects valued £2m - £15m new-builds and cut & carves. Sectors include retail, education, leisure, hospitality, healthcare, offices.
Currently turnover is at £70m and you would be instrumental in growing this. Particularly with a focus on the new-build education element.
The Role
As a Contracts Manager focused on school construction, your role is integral in collaborating with the Department for Education (DfE) to bring educational projects to fruition. You act as the liaison between the construction company and the DfE, taking charge of the entire project lifecycle. Your tasks range from negotiating contracts and planning the project to managing budgets, assessing risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
