The Role:
They are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to act as the number 1 lead on a £20m Student Accommodation project in Oxford. This role requires an individual with a proven track record of managing complex, high-value construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take full responsibility for the delivery of the £20m Student Accommodation project, from pre-construction through to handover.
* Oversee all on-site operations, managing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are consistently exceeded.
* Ensure all work complies with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Monitor project performance, including progress, financials, and quality, and take proactive steps to address any issues.
* Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
* Manage stakeholder communications and reporting, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
What We’re Looking For:
* Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager, with a history of acting as the number 1 lead on projects valued at £15m–£50m.
* Expertise in delivering large-scale accommodation projects (e.g., Student Accommodation, Care-to-Residential).
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams effectively.
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage budgets, contracts, and negotiations with confidence.
* A solution-focused mindset, capable of navigating challenges and identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, with membership in professional bodies (e.g., CIOB, RICS) being advantageous.
