About the Role
The successful candidate will have significant experience in electric powertrain within an automotive engineering environment, including a comprehensive understanding of the V-Cycle. They will be responsible for delivering and developing core Forseven powertrain, electrification, and thermal diagnostics, as well as engaging with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure strategy can deliver diagnostic requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse and define requirements relating to diagnostics based on customer specification, supplier software, and homologation requirements.
* Deliver and develop core Forseven powertrain, electrification, and thermal diagnostics, to include aspects such as high voltage safety and charging, from standard calibration delivered by suppliers.
* Plan and execute diagnostic development activities on range of vehicles in conjunction with wider powertrain test and validation team to include the support of climatic test trips and vehicle builds.
* Produce high quality reporting and documentation – including regulatory - to provide a suitable audit trail of the diagnostic exercises completed.
