The Same Day Emergency Care Therapy team are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and driven individual to join the team. The individual must be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills to support developing the service to provide high quality, timely therapy assessment and interventions. As a Senior Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist you will provide assessment, treatment and management advice for patients within the Same Day Emergency Care team; including prioritising/managing the daily caseload within the team, assessing and delivering therapy interventions, ensuring the highest professional standards of care are maintained, demonstrating adherence to the Trust Values and operating as a leader in the team, service and organisation. Main duties of the job To be a team member contributing to the delivery of therapy services across the Same Day Emergency Care team, alongside the senior leadership team. To provide specialist advice to therapy staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team and wider tea,. To use client-centred approaches to patient care. To participate in and provide clinical and management supervision. To contribute to multi-disciplinary team working. To contribute to and lead on service improvement and quality initiatives. To use the Trust electronic patient record system. To contribute to Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments. To abide by all Trust policies and procedures.
