We are seeking a highly motivated Business Engagement Executive with a passion for sales, apprenticeships, and education to drive business engagement and meet skills needs in the Borough and beyond. The School/Department is an exceptional place to work, with staff working collaboratively to ensure the very best outcomes for our students.
The Business Engagement Executive will play a crucial role in sourcing, establishing, developing, and maintaining relationships with employers to support Croydon College's ambitious growth plans. This role extends to engagement with employed apprentices, learner find and recruitment services, and securing high-quality work placements for students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sourcing and establishing relationships with employers.
2. Engaging with employed apprentices and recruitment services.
3. Securing high-quality work placements for students.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Knowledge of the skills landscape and the socio-economic context of employer-learner engagement.
2. Understanding of local labour market opportunities and trends.
3. Experience in a sales and target-driven environment.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively.
