We are currently looking to hire a new member for our team to help us keep delivering our great service. Night Route Van Delivery Driver/Courier Pay £12.50 Guaranteed 40 hour payable week. Shift is 23.30 to 07.50 Monday-Friday shifts and 23:00-07:20 on Sunday shifts These Shifts are on a 5 week rota and works as below; You will have every Saturday off then a 2nd day off during the week, this day changes each week on a rota pattern starting Monday week one, through to Friday week 5 then resets to Monday. You will work Every Sunday as part of your 5 days. Overtime & shift swaps where available to help with work life balance. All shifts are guaranteed paid 8 hour shift. Bonus Payment hours for additional deliveries on route. Rewards at Christmas, Easter and throughout the year. New starter rewards at 4/8/12 weeks of working with us. Pension Scheme. Responsibilities The Night Courier role involves loading and unloading of vehicles and the sortation and scanning of parcels into Vans/Lockers. This role requires the manual handling of heavy and large items, physical as well as mental agility is needed. Additional duties involve; Pick and pack orders, with repetitive handling/lifting of sometimes heavy and large items Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team Ensure scanning compliance of all stock, with accurate use of the hand held terminal Accurate completion of any relevant paperwork Keep work area clean and tidy Maintain high levels of Health and Safety Achieve the targets and job standards set out Maintain regular contact and ensure any issues are communicated Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements Operate machinery (only when trained to do so)
