we’re looking for two l+d specialists to join us on our continuous journey of true nourishment
the role |
as the learning + development specialist, you will provide thought partnership along with action on all aspects of l+d, including learning user group analysis, content design, world-class program delivery, and learner experience. you will also lead + support in the facilitation + delivery of any development workshops + programmes. these learning initiatives should not only engage our teams but drive capability and performance. you will appreciate + understand the needs of an overall; diverse workforce creating development tools + opportunities that grow people not just in work but in life
you will also work in close collaboration with our regional talent partners + learning design team, as well as other key stakeholders across the business (such as risk, marketing, central ops) to ensure that, through our learning offering, we have a people experience we can be proud of that not only meets the needs of our entire workforce but in turn leads to happier, more engaged, high-performing teams
key accountablities |
* supporting the design and implementation of an inspiring learning + development strategy which encompasses onboarding, career development, career pathways & frameworks including technical/compliance training
* the delivery of engaging training for operational teams, whether in-person or virtually
* develop highly innovative learning content and experiences aligned with adult learning principles and relevant to the learning styles of our diverse teams
* research and be up to date with the very best external learning content and resources that could benefit wagamama, understanding what great learning and development interventions look like, adopting fresh thinking, tools and techniques to ensure an effective learning experience
* live and breath the learning + development strategy to inspire good change for our people, whilst delivering a learning experience that has a healthy balance between the experience our people get working with us whilst ensuring we have the capability across all roles to meet business demands + growth
* partner closely with key stakeholders across the people experience team to diagnose strengths and opportunities across the team lifecycle impacting the people experience, focusing specifically on learning + development, but providing thoughts on the broader stages of the life cycle and challenge the status quo

* able to contribute to the creation of branded digital and non-digital learning materials and experiences that are in keeping with wagamama tone, that engage our learners across the business
* able to work at pace, make decisions and manage different work tasks and projects at a time, prioritising and managing deadlines
* can source + interpret data to influence + enhance current or future projects
* has a good understanding of the production of learning content designs such as storyboards and scripts
