Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the SE2 postcode (London). This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible, with the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
* Delivering engaging and high-quality History lessons to KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5.
* Planning, marking, and assessing student progress in line with the national curriculum.
* Inspiring students with a love for history through innovative teaching methods.
* Contributing to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities.
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching History at secondary level.
* The ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
* Right to work in the UK (Teaching Personnel cannot offer sponsorship).
