Job Description:

Permanent/52-week contract
22 hours a week during term-time (7.30am-9am and 3pm-6pm) Monday to Friday with overtime up to 40 hours (18 additional hours) during school holidays
£13-£15 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
We are recruiting for the leading provider of wraparound and out of school childcare for primary school children in the UK. This company continues to grow in size, quality and scope every year and are looking for someone who is passionate about children’s play and activity.
As a School Club Manager, you will manage all day-to-day aspects of running the wraparound clubs at your school from scheduling, people management, cost control, parents' queries and complaints, and school relationships. You will also have the opportunity to work in the holidays as part of activity and sport camps, running fun sessions for children when school is closed.
As a School Club Manager, you will ideally have experience in:
1. Leading a Team - understanding that you need to be firm but fair, genuine and heartfelt, and respect everyone's differences and uniqueness.
2. Leading Performance – knowing your finances, setting clear goals, having out-of-the-box thinking, and being confident making decisions.
3. Strategic Thinking – listening to customers, parents, schools and, most importantly, the children in your care to create the best experiences.
4. Leading You – seeking and embracing feedback from others, being calm under pressure, and doing everything possible to exceed expectations.
5. Leading Play & Activities – creating a fun, energetic, playful, structured environment for children to grow and develop.
The organisation has strong values and empowers their people to bring these values to life:
1. Be Considerate – Show You Care.
2. Be Passionate – Love What You Do.
3. Be Courageous – Show you are resilient.
4. Make a Difference – Leave a positive legacy.
This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974.
