Salary: Band 7 - £39,557 - £46,011 p.a. (£48,788 - £56,747 pro rata)
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.
A relocation package will be available to the successful candidate, if eligible.

Job Purpose: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family Nurse position in the Highlands.
The successful post holder will be based in Inverness, however this does not exclude the possibility of travelling elsewhere in the Highlands as per service and client requirements.
The post holder is responsible for delivering the Family Nurse Partnership licensed (FNP) intensive home visiting programme to eligible pregnant young women. The post holder is required to be the lead in developing therapeutic relationships with clients and work intensively within complex family situations from early pregnancy until the child reaches 2 years when the programme is completed, whilst also ensuring fidelity to the programme’s licensing requirements. As part of the licensing requirements the FNP Team is also supported by a Clinical Psychologist, Data Manager and Administrator.
All family nurses are required to undertake further mandatory training, some of which is residential, spanning over approximately 18 months. Alongside the mandatory training, there is now an opportunity to undertake a Masters level professional diploma in Family Nursing.

Requirements
First level registered nurse or midwife with current NMC registration.
Professional knowledge acquired at degree level underpinning further specialist education and training such as Public Health Nursing/Health Visiting.
