PURPOSE
To ensure the achievement of safety, quality and efficiency aims related to production in accordance with the Group’s policies.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for the achievement of envisaged aims, by operating in compliance with: Safety, environmental and product’s safety provisions; ISO 9001 Quality System; Group’s policies
2. Manage the production personnel, including shift rotation
3. Organize the personnel’s technical training, testing their acquisition level
4. Collaborate with the Production Planning Office suggesting possible corrective actions
5. Ensure that the product is compliant with the assigned technical specifications
6. Collaborate with the Product Office in the permanent updating of technical specifications, signalling anomalies and suggesting alterations for an ongoing improvement
7. Participate in the activities to develop new products checking their technical feasibility and, if necessary, managing technical tests and sampling
8. Participate in the assessment of auxiliary raw materials by organizing and following their industrial tests

9. Promote the permanent improvement aimed at the optimisation of productive processes also through innovative solutions
10. Collaborate with the Maintenance in order to guarantee the correct functioning of productive lines
11. Supervise compliance with safety provisions
12. Contribute to the creation of new products
13. Responsible for the collaborators’ professional growth, valorisation and motivation
14. Promote a safety, quality and environment -bound corporate culture
15. Promote the Corporate Principles and Values
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE WITHIN A UK COMPANY:
16. Relevant experience within a packaging or paper manufacturing environment
17. A proven track record in managing employees in a manufacturing environment
18. Experience Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

20. Excellent communication skills
21. Proficient at using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
22. Ability to prioritise and problem solve
